DGV-TC-066L6: Risk InterpretationGER-103: Mutation DetectionVersion: 1.0.0
Negative: Mutated Input Detection
The verifier MUST detect when a valid script is mutated (a single value changed) and reject the mutated input. This proves the verifier is not just checking structure but is actually evaluating the computation.
Operational Purpose & Scope
Mutation test: takes the valid TC-001 script but changes the payload from 1000 to 99999 (an extreme outlier). The verifier MUST detect that the mutated payload produces a different residual and report failure.
Verification Context
- Target Scope:
dgv-verifier CLI execution — mutation test - Audit Strategy:
mutation - Verification Metrics:
mutation_detectedvalue_validation - Framework Origin:DGV Negative Test Suite
- Mandatory:Yes — must pass for certification
Governance Risk & Penalty
Mutated input acceptance proves the verifier checks structure but not computation, undermining evidence validity.
Expected Outcome
- pass:
false
