Only Institute is an independent research laboratory. We publish the DGV verification suite — 89 test cards, 35 claim classes, 9 governance layers — as open source. We share the binaries, the receipts, and the evidence. That work is free to inspect and free to run. It is not free to produce. Sponsorship keeps the lab running. It does not buy influence.
What sponsorship is — and what it is not
Independence is not for sale
Sponsorship funds the lab's operating costs — compute, infrastructure, and time. It does not purchase research direction, claim language, test outcomes, or publication timing. The lab decides what to build, what to test, and what to publish.
DGV test cards stay open
The DGV verification suite — 89 test cards across 35 claim classes and 9 governance layers — is published as open source. Anyone can inspect the tests, run the binary, and verify the receipts. Sponsorship does not gate this material.
No hidden influence
If a sponsor has a commercial relationship with Only Institute (Guard, Estate, or Federation), it is disclosed on the offer sheet. Sponsorship is separate from procurement. No sponsor receives preferential treatment in test results, claims, or publications.
What is already open
DGV verifier binary and test cards — public repository with SHA-256 checksums, evidence receipts, and an independent receipt verification script. Anyone can run the tests and check the hashes.
DGV project pageResearch publications and white papers — governance architecture, TPNN adversarial resistance, PIR regime detection, and the Quilt-AGI bridge. Published on this site and free to read.
PublicationsProject pages with honest status — every project is tagged as production, active, or experimental. We say what works, what is in progress, and what is unfinished. No inflated claims.
Research projectsSponsorship tiers
All tiers are support contributions, not contracts. They do not confer ownership, IP rights, test-card influence, or publication control. The lab may decline any sponsorship that conflicts with its independence.
Infrastructure sponsor

The boundary, stated plainly
A sponsor supports the lab. A sponsor does not direct the lab. The research agenda, the test cards, the claims registry, and the publication schedule are set by the lab — not by funding. If a sponsor disagrees with a result, the result stands. If a sponsor wants a specific claim tested, they can request it — but the test is run the same way every time, and the receipt is published regardless of outcome.
This is the same standard we apply to ourselves: no hidden coordination, no manufactured consensus, no evidence bypass. Sponsorship does not change that.
