DGV-TC-067L6: Risk InterpretationGER-104: Bit-Flip DetectionVersion: 1.0.0
Negative: Bit-Flip Corruption Detection
The verifier MUST detect when a script is corrupted by a bit-flip (a single character changed in the script text) and reject the corrupted input. This proves the verifier validates input integrity, not just execution.
Operational Purpose & Scope
Mutation test: changes evolve(2) to evolve(3) in the valid TC-001 script. The verifier MUST detect that the mutated script produces a different computation path and report failure.
Verification Context
- Target Scope:
dgv-verifier CLI execution — mutation test - Audit Strategy:
mutation - Verification Metrics:
bit_flip_detectedscript_integrity_validated - Framework Origin:DGV Negative Test Suite
- Mandatory:Yes — must pass for certification
Governance Risk & Penalty
Bit-flip corruption acceptance allows subtly corrupted scripts to pass verification.
Expected Outcome
- pass:
false
